Coastal Exploration Tour

Experience the magic of the Pacific coastline on a guided adventure with a local naturalist. As the tide drops, your guide will help you discover the alien worlds in between the tides. Learn how the different organisms survive in one of the planet’s most dynamic environments and hear the stories of the coast’s Indigenous stewards, early settlers, and modern-day conservationists who protect these fragile shores.

After booking, your guide will reach out with the exact meeting location, tide timing, and current conditions. We may adjust the specific beach depending on tides, weather, or group needs, and we’re happy to tailor the experience to your interests.

You’ll meet your guide at the shore and begin a relaxed-paced exploration of the ecosystem with a focus on the intertidal zone. Expect frequent stops to observe marine life, identify species, take photos, and connect with the fascinating ecosystem at your feet.
